McLaren's
Corned Beef & Cabbage
Suggested
ingredients (but feel free to add or change – that’s the
fun of cooking):
5 lbs of
corned beef
8
potatoes
1 cabbage
cut up
Chopped
parsley
1 clove
of garlic
8 black
Peppers
8 carrots
cut up
8 peeled
onions
Directions: Put the corned beef in a large pan and
cover with water. Add garlic, cloves, and pepper. Bring
water to a boil. Turn the heat down and cook over low
heat for 3 to 4 hours. Add carrots, potatoes, and
onions and cook for an additional 30 minutes. Add the
chopped up cabbage during the final 15 minutes.
