For
lunch, I was allowed to invite 5 friends home from
school. Mom served us green pancakes, we drank green
milk, and could also choose from green eggs (scrambled
or fried) and ham. Desert was green sugar cookies with
mint ice cream. The kids in my class at school fought
to be on the invitation list! Dinner was normally Irish
stew with fresh bread and of course, green milk.
