Finian's Rainbow

(1968) - Finian’s Rainbow is a wonderful comedy about an Irish leprechauns’ trip to America in an attempt to find, and bring back the pot of gold taken from him by an old Irishman (Finian) and his daughter.  Action takes place in Rainbow Valley, a co-op community near Fort Knox.  The valley has hard working farmers, a redneck sheriff, and a stereotyped Southern senator.  The plot unfolds with the issue of the co-op's back taxes, romances and of course the pot of gold. Staring Fred Astaire, Petula Clark, Tommy Steele, and  Keenan Wynn.
